YOUTH & TEENAGER RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM
(9 - 16 years old, age as of June 1, 2006)

FEES & SCHEDULES FOR 2006
Our inclusive packages include airport pick-up, tuition, classroom supplies, accommodation, all meals, emergency medical insurance (while in residence at St. George's), sightseeing/cultural visits, and all recreational activities. Daily room cleaning and towels are provided. We also include a school t-shirt, certificate and group photograph.

ENGLISH SKILLS PROGRAM
These classes will emphasize the development of, and practical usage of, oral skills. Students will spend three hours each morning in the classroom learning about Canadian customs, greetings, idioms, shopping, and other social interactions. Teachers will utilize Canadian-style teaching methods with oral participation and cummunicative group work. Textbooks and other materials will be used to enhance the curriculum.

ADVANCED ENGLISH SKILLS PROGRAM
This demanding, academic-based program will emphasize the development of oral AND written skills in a small class environment for three hours each morning. Teachers will be utilizing Canadian teaching methods, text books, and computers to enhance the curriculum. Students will research and work through the writing process to complete a published essay.
This program is recommended for students who are, or might one day, be entering North American secondary schools. The curriculum has been structured for those students who have proven intermediate to advanced levels of ESL. (TOEFL: 450 or SLEP: 45).

- public speaking
- organizational skills
- paragraph and essay writing

Students may choose only ONE of the above programs.
All pricing is per student, and includes a $100 damage deposit to be returned on the last day.
The above fees do NOT include:
- return airfare and Vancouver International Airport Improvement Fee
- the application fee
- spending money for personal activities, transportation, and snacks.
ACCOMMODATION: 2, 3, or 4 students per room
APPLICANTS MUST:
- be a boy OR girl aged 9 - 16 before June 1, 2006
- meet Canadian visa requirements
- have a parent complete and sign the School Medical Heath and Consent forms
- have a parent's Letter of Consent to travel alone, if under 12 years old

RULES
- Class attendance is mandatory.
- No swearing or smoking.
- BULLYING WILL NOT BE TOLERATED.
- We reserve the right to send a student home for disruptive or inappropriate behaviour.
TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS
Overseas families are responsible for all necessary arrangements for international travel to Canada, including passports and students visas (if required, often not required for short summer visits). We advise that you contact your local Canadian Consulate. Students must have a confirmed return airline ticket prior to arrival in Vancouver.
EMERGENCY MEDICAL HEALTH INSURANCE
St. George's School will provide only EMERGENCY Medical Insurance coverage for the duration of the student's program while in our residence or on our bus tour. Chronic medical problems are NOT covered.
PAYMENT POLICIES

APPLICATION FEE
The application fee of $100, which is not part of the program fee, and is non-refundable, must be mailed with the 2006 Application Form. A Letter of Acceptance, the two required medical forms, and a General Information Letter will be sent upon receipt of the 2006 Application Form and Application Fee.
PAYMENT
Payment in full is required by June 1, 2006 to ensure a space in the program.
CANCELLATION POLICY
$2900 of the June 1st full payment is refundable only up to June 15, 2006. After this date, there is no refund for ANY reason.
